The Centre for Comparative Public Law of the Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, organised a two-week capacity building programme. The theme of the programme was 'Access to Justice in Ancient and Medieval India: Revisiting Possibilities and Challenges for Legal Pluralism in 21st Century'. The chief guest of the valedictory session was Professor Gurdip Singh Bahri, former VC of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow. He raised the question of access in international law and expounded the significance of institutional reforms to solve the problem of inequitable access of power among the nation-states.

Police hold workshop at ITI

Students and staff of ITI, Paonta Sahib, participated in a workshop organised by Paonta Sahib police. While addressing them, DSP Bir Bahadur apprised the youth of their rights and duties. He said the youth should identify their talent and try their best to achieve their goals. He also stressed on the need to use social media positively and asked the youth to not forward objectionable messages. They were also made aware about traffic norms, drug abuse and its negative impact and social rights.

Vaccination drive at APG University

As many as 70 people were administered the third dose of Covid vaccination at APG University, Shimla, on Friday. The vaccination camp was organised in association with the primary health centre, Vikasnagar, and public health subcentre, Kwara village, Pujarili gram panchayat .
