Apprise people of BJP policies: Himachal CM to workers

Hamirpur, June 20

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today urged BJP workers to make people aware of the policies and programmes of the Central and state governments and also counter the false propaganda of opposition parties.

Thakur, while addressing the 'Tridev Sammelan' in the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency, said Himachal Pradesh emerged the first state in the country to achieve the target of cent per cent Covid vaccination of the eligible population with two doses.

He said that the Prime Minister ensured that the weaker sections of society get their dues. The BJP would again come to power in Himachal. "The BJP has continuously won the Hamirpur parliamentary seat nine times, which is a record in itself. The credit for this goes to every party worker of the parliamentary constituency," he added.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education and Skill Development Minister, said that the BJP had emerged as the biggest political party of the world due to relentless efforts of its workers and the Prime Minister's leadership.

He said that Agnipath was a visionary scheme, which would provide an opportunity to the youth to serve the country and also contribute towards nation building.

He said that Himachal Pradesh is known as Veer Bhoomi and this scheme would further encourage the youth to serve in Armed Forces, he added.

Anurag Thakur, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, said that the BJP leadership and workers worked hard to tacked Covid challenges. The Prime Minister brought a scheme to provide free ration to over 80 crore people of the country.

Sanjay Tandon, co-incharge of state BJP, Prem Kumar Dhumal, former CM, Mahender Singh Thakur, Jal Shakti Minister, Virender Kanwar, Panchayati Raj Minister, Bikram Singh, Industries Minister, and MLAs were present on the occasion.
