Kullu, January 17
A family of five members of Shala village in Mandi was completely shattered, as Geeta Nand (32) and his wife Dimple Kumari (30) died in a car accident yesterday while their eldest daughter Akshara (11), who was seriously injured, died at the IGMC late last night. Two children are under treatment at Kullu Hospital.
The family was reportedly going to the Ganesh temple when their car fell into a gorge. The couple died on the spot while three children Akshara (11), Diksha (9) and Bhuvneshwar (5) were injured. The injured children were taken to the Kullu Hospital. Critically injured Akshara was referred to the IGMC, Shimla, where she died late last night.
