Decision to reopen schools flayed

Representatives of the state PTA met the Shimla Deputy Commissioner on Thursday and expressed their resentment over the government's decision to reopen schools for junior classes. They said just 15 days of the session were left and the parents would be forced to pay for uniforms, school pass etc for such a short time. Besides, the representatives said doctors feared a third wave of Covid and no parent would want to take that risk. They urged the government to roll back the decision.
