Shimla, October 4
The 9th Hero MTB Himalaya-Shimla Edition would be organised from October 8 to 10 by the Himalayan Adventure Sports and Tourism Promotion Association, in association with the district administration and the state Department of Tourism.
The cyclists will cover 120 km with an elevation gain of 3,000 m and highest elevation of 2,400 m through dense forests, river crossings, rugged terrains and beautiful meadows, giving an ultimate off-roading experience to the participants in two days.
The route for stage I of the heritage ride will cover Shimla, Anandpur, Sadhupul, Janedghat, Chail and Hail Himalaya and stage II would be from Hail Himalaya, Junga, Chail, Anandpur, Shoghi, Taradevi to Peterhoff.—TNS
