A passenger train from Kalka to Shimla on Thursday derailed near the Barog railway station in Solan district, said railway officials.
The train suddenly went off the track at Barog railway station at 7.45 am, however, the cause is yet to be known, said an official of the Railway and Traffic Police, Parwanoo.
All the passengers are safe, the official said.
