Landslip in Dhalli hits traffic

Shimla, September 5

A major landslide in the Dhalli area of Shimla today disrupted vehicular movement for some time, but no loss of human life or property has been reported.

The landslide was triggered by heavy rains in the last two days. No person was hurt or vehicle damaged despite the fact that the incident took place in peak hours in the evening. Though the landslide has not caused any threat to the houses located near the Dhalli tunnel, if rains continue, these could be in danger.
