Himachal government transfers seven SPs

The Himachal government issued orders for the transfer of seven superintendents of police in the state on Tuesday.

An order transfers the current Kangra SP Vimukt Ranjan (2009 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre) to Una, Shimla SP Mohit Chawla (2010 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre) to Solan, Anjum Ara, the commandant of the 1st HP Armed Police, Junga, to State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau, Southern Range, Shimla, current Solan SP Rohit Malpani (2012 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre) to Baddi district, Omapati Jamwal (2011 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre), the current SIU State vigilance and Anticorruption Bureau, Shimla, to Sirmaur district, SP Nahan Khushal Chand Sharma (2012 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre) to Kangra and Bilaspur SP Diwakar Sharma (2012 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre) to Police Training College in Daroh, Kangra.

Virendra Singh Tomar (2010 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre) who's currently awaiting positing, is now commandant of the 5th Indian Reserve Battalion (Mahila), Bassi and Ranjana Chauhan (2010 batch IPS of the Himachal cadre), SP (Leave Reserve) at Himachal Police Headquarters in Shimla), will take over as SP, Lokayukta, Shimla.
