Chandigarh, August 9

A mountaineering expedition to Mount Kun near Kargil organised by the Army to commemorate 75 years of Independence and 50 years of the victory in the 1971 war with Pakistan was flagged-in by Lt Gen PN Ananthanarayanan, General Officer Commanding, Rising Star Corps, at Yol Cantonment in Kangra district today.
