“Who will lead the Congress in Himachal Pradesh in the Assembly elections in 2022 will be decided by the party high command,” said Mukesh Agnihotri, Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly.
Agnihotri said the demise of veteran Congress leader Virbhadra Singh was a big loss to the Congress. He said the party would make all efforts to give a united fight to the BJP in the Assembly elections.
He said the Congress was fully prepared for the Assembly elections and had already activated its workers. The people of the state were fed up with the wrong policies of the state government.
Agnihotri said the people of the state would never forget the failures and poor handling of the Covid crisis, which had led to the death of 1,200 persons in Himachal.
Besides Agnihotri, Asha Kumari, Brij Behari Lal Butail, Chander Kumar, Ajay Mahajan, Ashish Butail, and Pawan Kajal were also present.
